How Mubboo compiles community data

Every number on a Mubboo Info page is computed from a verified public dataset — most published by U.S. federal government agencies, a few from nonpartisan research institutions. We do not generate, infer, or estimate the figures with AI.

What we do

  • Download raw data directly from the publishing agency on each dataset's native refresh cadence.
  • Map data to its appropriate geographic unit — ZIP-tabulation area (ZCTA) when the source publishes per-ZIP, county when published per county (with crosswalk to the primary county containing each ZIP), state when published per state.
  • Render every number alongside its source name and retrieval date so you can audit freshness yourself.
  • Track every dataset's last-refresh timestamp and surface the oldest one as the page-level Freshness Badge.

What we don't do

  • We do not use AI to generate, fill in, or estimate any of the numbers shown on Info pages.
  • We do not editorialize community data with subjective rankings or aggregate “scores” that mix incommensurable measures.
  • We do not cite anonymous “sources” — every figure links back to its publisher.
