Mubboo Verdict

A practical, well-located Waikiki hotel ideal for seniors and families seeking beach access, solid service, and functional amenities, though dated decor and occasional staff hiccups may occur.

Insider tip: The bathroom door bumps the toilet—a small but awkward design quirk reviewers note. Parking also fills up, pushing guests to an employee lot, sometimes under a cranky security guard's watch.

The majority of the staff were friendly; however, the person who checked us in did not seem so friendly (male with a shaved/bald head). His tone and the way he was asking questions seemed transactional and not welcoming; he did not smile the entire time he was checking us in.

The location was very nice - located right on the beach. However, the rooms have an odd setup. The bathroom door bumped into the toilet. Also, when it came to parking, I paid for parking but was told that their lots were full so I had to park in the employee lot after a security guard was very upset he

★★★NONE
The location was very convenient , only a block away from Waikiki Beach. The atmosphere in the foyer and even the hotel facade from outside was very dated, way back to the 80s, maybe even 70s, from the furniture to the decor to the paint on the walls. An upgrade to refresh the foyer would increase the appeal.
