Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa
$543 /night
Available on Booking.com, Expedia, Agoda
Mubboo Verdict
A lively beachfront resort best for sun-seeking families and couples who value location and club lounge service over peace and polish.
Insider tip: Despite its beachfront allure, the hotel’s city-facing rooms have notably poor soundproofing—guests report hearing wind through unsealed balcony doors. Meanwhile, the Regency Club Lounge staff provide such exceptional service that they often become the highlight of stays, even when room issues arise.

“I booked the second to largest room this hotel offers. Upon arrival they said they didn't have a reservation for me. After digging for my confirmation email they found it. Then within 24 hrs of staying, I received a $12K charge on my credit card that I had paid off and planned to use while there to get points.”
“We stayed here for the land portion of our NCL Hawaiian cruise. Rooms were spacious but we were put in a handicapped room which was odd since we weren't. Hotel is very crowded and noisy and the lines your need to wait in to get an elevator are insane!”
“My stay at the Hyatt Regency Waikīkī was made even more memorable because of the incredible team in the Regency Club Lounge. Every morning and evening, we were greeted with warm smiles, genuine kindness, and exceptional service that made us feel truly welcome. A special thank you to Michelle M., Colin I., Elise G., Ashley S., and JD T.”
“Not very good experience comparing to other Hyatt hotels that we stayed at. First room was old, dirty and moldy. Had to change 3 rooms within 24 hours. The Lounge food especially breakfast wasn’t that great and not many options to choose from.”
