Mubboo Verdict
A straightforward, well-located Waikiki hotel best suited for seniors and families wanting simple comforts without resort frills.
Insider tip: The hotel was formerly an Outrigger property, and some guests feel the switch brought a decline in the 'aloha spirit.' Repeated complaints about marijuana smells seeping through walls suggest thin construction and lax enforcement of non-smoking policies.

★ Real traveler reviews
Verbatim excerpts from TripAdvisor reviews.
“The hallway of our room floor smell weeds. The room net to us smoke weed every moorning and nights, the smell enter our room because the wall-to- ceiling window wasn't able to stop the weed/marijuana smoke.”
“Rooms need updating, along with the area with the pool (seriously). Also, charging resort (amenity) fees when you barely have any is horrible, especially when you still charge for parking, offer no breakfast, have no in room microwaves, and your pool area looks the way it does.”
“Let me start by saying, we love Hawaii and we visit multiple times per year. There is Not a whole lot of aloha at this hotel. This was previously an outrigger hotel but I didn’t realize it until after it was booked.”
