I love coming to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden at any time of the year but is especially nice in April when Daffodil Hill and the Cherry Blossoms are in full bloom. I love the intense colors of the Cherry Blossoms with fluffy pink hues dominating both the lawn and the pathways.

My family and I visited recently on a cold February day. Ugly snow was still piled on the Brooklyn streets and sidewalks. I absolutely loved this beautiful, quire spot. I saw trees and plants of which I had only dreamed: bonsai, pinion, creosote, cumquat, Venus fly traps, and many more. The different environments are mystical and enchanting.

This is the second year I came to the last night of the Annual Lightshow and it was excellent. It is always such a great event with the music and festive lights. The show had such interesting displays and I loved the displays in the Water shed section and in the Cherry Blossom sections with the music interpretation.
