Mubboo Verdict
A stylish hotel best suited for couples and special occasions, with spacious rooms, a lively rooftop, and caring service, but expect elevator delays.
Insider tip: Reviews highlight a stark contrast: the hotel’s exceptional, personalized service—especially for guests with mobility needs—is undermined by a notoriously slow elevator system. One guest resorted to a service elevator. Marble bathroom floors also become dangerously slick when wet, a hidden safety concern.

“I would not recommend the Dominick Hotel for several reasons. The elevators are horrible. You can sometimes wait 10 to 15 minutes for an elevator to arrive on your room floor. At one point, we had to take the service elevator to get to the lobby to meet our Uber. The pool is small and the pool deck overcrowded.”
“I booked this hotel for my mom and her friend to spend the night in as part of her 80th birthday celebrations, and I could not be more pleased. My mom has extremely limited mobility, and the hotel accommodated her beautifully, not only with the room they gave her but also in how she was treated and assisted by staff.”
“Everything about the experience from start to finish was wonderful. The views were breathtaking, service was 10/10. The only negative feedback I have was my car was a bit mishandled by the valet.”
“First time at this hotel. First the positives: -beautiful lobby -large rooms great bathrooms (although marble floors become very slippy when a drop of water falls upon them) -comfy mattress Cons: -The worst elevators in the city. Took up to 20 minutes to obtain one and they were all filled, all the time.”
