What does the Air Quality Index (AQI) measure?
The EPA's Air Quality Index (AQI) is a scale from 0 to 500 measuring how clean or polluted the air is. Values 0-50 are Good; 51-100 Moderate; 101-150 Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups; above 150 is Unhealthy. The primary pollutants tracked are ground-level ozone, PM2.5, PM10, CO, SO2, and NO2.
